Best Booth Award
Each year the MATE strives to award exhibitors that demonstrate outstanding displays and service. Exhibitors are divided into three categories: Large Ag Booth, Small Ag Booth, and Home & Health Booth. The awards will be given at the exhibitor social hour on Thursday night at 6:05 p.m.
Unidentified judges will grade exhibitors in three categories:
- Small Ag Booth: includes agriculture exhibitors with 1-8 booth spaces
- Large Ag Booth: includes agriculture exhibitors with 9+ booth spaces
- Home & Health: includes exhibitors in the Home & Health section
The criteria used for judging the Best of Show awards will include the following:
- Clearly show the product and/or service, i.e.; signs, product visuals
Identifiable exhibitors, i.e.; uniforms, name badges worn on right lapel - Presence within the exhibit at all times
- Attractiveness of the display, i.e.; clean, well-let, ample display
- Attention-getters, crowd appeal, i.e.; activity, demonstrations, etc.
- Greets customers enthusiastically, i.e.; smiles, handshakes
- Professionally made signage
